Things are winding up as we move into the heart of the festive season, and though things do quieten down at this time of the year, there is always a last minute flurry of activity before we can close office and relax!

Just as a filler I wanted to put out this really funky little video sent to me by Kwani Experience, featuring one of my favourite artists Pops Mohamed, filmed earlier this year in Marseille, France. It’s a really cool snippet of the track Ashes to Machine that has lots of clubby feel to it, but still remain true to the African beats and rhythms that make Kwani Experience such a hot group.

I will be posting from time to time – or as exciting things happen – but in the mean time – keep things safe on the road, enjoy time with your family and friends, and remember to keep playing the music! Because Local is Lekka!

Kwani Experence will be at the Vodacom Jazz Picnic next week Tuesday the 16th at Kempton Park, and they’ll be playing a 45-minute set from 18h00!
